Talent6 stole my information and identity and now I'm bankrupt. They are also known as Act Network, Central Casting Network, and Search for Talent , and Igor Reiant is the CEO
Talent6 stole my identity. Four months ago I called into Talent6 looking to become a movie extra and make some extra money on the side during these difficult financial times as I have been laid off from my twenty year career of teaching kindergarten children. With three girls at home and a deceased husband I thought that working in the world of entertainment would be both interesting and fun. Tears fill my eyes as this report is being written little did I know I was in for the worst experience of my life? After speaking with a Talent6 employee the for nearly ten minutes named Igor Reiant I was asked for my name, address, phone number, credit card number, expiration date and the cvv2 code on the back of my credit card so that they could charge me $45.00 to put my picture on their website, http:// www.talent6.com.
In addition to my billing information the intrusive man on the phone named Igor, asked for my date of birth and my social security number for processing. As strange of a request as it was he assured me that they were a national company and the information was standard. Now for months have gone by and not only have I not gotten a job, I have been contacted by the department of homeland security saying my information was sold to a Russian black market organization that has received five credit cards and run over thirty thousand dollars in debt under my name.
How could Talent6 do this to a single, widowed mother of three and get away with selling my information to the Russian Mafia? The local authorities have been quite direct in stating that it could take years for my information and credit to be restored and yet it still is not guaranteed that it will be resolved and now my daughter Rebecca that was getting ready to go to College has to cancel her plans as now I cannot even qualify for financial aid due to Talent6 selling my information and thirty thousand dollars of debt being accumulated. How was I to know that this would happen? Everyone out there needs to be so careful when dealing with this deceptive and scandalous organization.
After careful research I learned that Talent6 is also the ACT Network, and Search for Talent. Here there are several reports of people that have been scammed in one way or another by this company. Please help me and my family get out of this mess. In today's economic climate that last thing I needed was to be close to bankrupt for calling a number of Yahoo Hot Jobs. Due to this dangerous and deceptive Russian group I cannot send my daughter to college next year. The local authorities have contacted to District Attorney of San Francisco but they seem quite busy with all of the other reports against Talent6.
I have contacted the Federal Trades Commission and spoken to an agent there that is working on the case. It appears that when Search For Talent got too many complaints they changed their name to Talent6 and now I don't know what to do.

Go to Google and type this in: Talent6 Dara . You will see that Dara responds to every message on the internet about Talent6. She pretends to be an interested bystander who just stumbled upon the site and wants to set the record straight. Dara, we know you work for Talent6. We know Talent6 charges to look at auditions that are already posted for free elsewhere on the internet. We know it is a scam.

I am Jason Garrison one of the many billing specialist employed by Talent6.com I have researched your case thoroughly. I cannot find any case even remotely similar to what you have described happening ever. We have several very strict rules on Credit Card Verification and record every call that comes in. There is absolutely nothing we can do with your billing information that you do not authorize.
Talent6.com does not in any way, ever ask for your SSN or DOB.
Having over 1.3 million members sign up over the past 4 years and being here the whole time, I have never heard of any agent or sales person asking for an SSN.
Talent6.com is subject to all regulations that any very high volume credit card processor is subject to and complies with all Federal and California laws governing such. Our offices are located in the heart of Silicon Valley in South San Francisco, California.
Furthermore you state that Talent6 is something called ACT or SFT, which it is not. Talent6.com is Talent6, end of sentence.
Our entire high volume call center is located in the USA in San Bruno, California and is a very modern state of the art call center with over 165 agents. Talent6.com absolutely does not outsource any calls or agents overseas as you have indicated.
I am not sure how you are connecting Talent6.com to the "Russian Mob" but I have to agree with the poster above, this sounds very far fetched.

I want to preface this by saying thet Ripoff Report is rapidly becoming one of my favorite sites to leisure read. ROR has a policy where they do not remove reports no matter what. This creates integrity! I also want to add I am not an employee, customer or client of the mentioned company but I find it hilarious of the level of BS in the original post. Talent6 is the victim of an idiot with a keyboard! 1) The original poster claims to be a mother of three and have a deceased husband but signs the post as Jeff M and was obviously unaware that ROR displays your name in the report. His/Her name is Jeff (((redacted))). I don't think I need to point out the stupidity here. 2) She (he) claims that their information was sold to the "Russian Mob" and The Department of Homeland Security notified him/her that the "Rusky Mob" had obtained $30K and 5 CC in His/Her name. DHS doesn't offer credit watch services, Ma'am you are confusing them with free credit report com!. C'mon Russian Mob ha? How insanely stupid. 3) The report is laced with capitalized Keywords to snag searches on Google. 4) More than likely the orginal poster is a scam artist looking to take advantage of ROR by posting some phony info and then will try and extort the named business to "remove" their orginal post. BAD NEWS.... ROR doesn't remove reports, no matter what! The OP is an idiot and anyone can tell that! You either need to have your "medicine" refilled or come up with a better story.
