TCA Fulfillment Services BLATANT REBATE RIPOFF New Rochelle New York
On February 12, 2003, I purchased Alladin Systems Stuffit Deluxe for Windows from Amazon.com for $39. A $29 rebate was advertized by Amazon that was good on purchases made between 1/12/2003 and 2/23/2003 (this is clearly stated on the rebate form).
I submitted a carefully completed rebate request according to the terms of the deal. I hadn't received my check by the end of the eight week waiting period so I checked with www.tcarebates.com (aka: www.wheresmyrebate.com) as recommended on the rebate form. There I found that my rebate had been refused with the reason given: "Original purchase not during the rebate period/purchased 1/12/03 --valid dates 1/13/03-02/23/03".
This is nothing less than A BLATANT RIPOFF! I have copies of all my paperwork and I AM in compliance with the terms of the rebate.
