Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
Went into Team Toyota February 25, for service and Sammy Kirkland was going around saying he had good car deals.  I made the mistake of saying I was going to start looking into possibly getting a new car soon.  Sammy was all over that and quickly brought a Camry to show me after I said I would go basic Corolla.  Stood my ground and after sometime was given options of 4000 down and 0% for 36, 281 for 48 or 225 for 60 months, this had tax, title all included (from Manager Steve Clark and I have a copy of that) in amounts I made sure, since I cannot afford surprises.

I told them I would not buy a car if I couldn't pay it off in minimum of 48 months preferably 36.  So no term over 48 was ever considered or discussed.  I was told I had to make the deal by February 28th but could not due to clarifying some things on my end.  I told them they had to check my credit and that I had to know definite numbers.

Steve Clark said the deal was good and that my credit score was close enough to 700 that he could do the deal for me.  He wrote on the paper with a credit score of 700..now I am thinking the deception and dirty low-life behavior started at that point.  I called Sammy on March 8th and he said the same deal was on the table.  When I got there all was fine and they printed new papers..gave me things to circle, of course you never get copies of this stuff for your records, they do it all to make their dirty cases.  Well...agreed to the 48 months at 282 and the numbers worked.

Went back to financing and paper after paper are pushed I agreed to extended warranty 3, 800 approx so did the math in my head and the payment was right at 320 a month.  Got home and looked the paperwork says 319.00 for 60 months.  I got screwed.

I wasn't asked for my 4000 check up front and went back and reminded them ....because I am an upstanding, honest person.  I don't know how this is legal in the United States of America.  I work in healthcare and we have to be ethical and get threatened with Federal Fraud all the time but the business world like car dealers get patted on the back for pulling a quick one.  It is illegal and fraudulent, unethical, disgusting behavior that should not be tolerated.  If you are gutsy enough to deal with Team Toyota of Lithia Springs, GA, video all interactions and conversations, get copies of all the circle this, what about this crap...really...folks....I wouldn't do a thing without a copy of every paper for each step along the way and definitely don't trust them to do the final paperwork according to the deal.

If they make a mistake in your favor, lol, enjoy they more than deserve it given their tactics, behavior and professionalism.  They have lost a recommendation, customer, and service department regular customer for life...but hey the paperwork says I owe them 3840 more than I had discussed from the first moment.  Customer beware, learn from my experience what they are capable of, ask for papers from start to finish and take the paperwork to sit and look at for an hour or so...refuse to sit in the room and sign paper after paper in a hurry trusting them to be ethical.  Also I bought the warranty and was not even given a copy of what it covers....Why?  So they can then change that along the way and I have nothing?  Don't trust these people, see them for what they are.  Buyer beware!

However, the bottom line is YOU!  As per your direct quote:  "...got home and looked the paperwork...I got screwed."  YOU signed that paperwork, right?  Do you kinda think the smart thing to have done is READ TH
PAPERWORK..........BEFORE..........YOU SIGN IT???  Did they "screw" you?  Of course they did!  And YOU let it happen by NOT reading what you were signing.  They tried this con-game because they know sucker after sucker will sign "here" and sign "there" without using the common sense of READING what they are signing!  Incredible!  What kind of bogus, add-on, phoney fees did they hit you with which you DID NOT read?  The Sleazy American Car Business is what it is.  The protection we all have is using common sense when dealing with these slimeballs.  Next time, read what you are signing BEFORE you sign it.
