Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?

I want to warn wholesalers and people looking for merchandise to resell to be very carefull when dealing with techliquidators.com / deal tree or any Best Buy liquidations.

I know of many instances where they are selling merchaindise that is claimed to have substaintial value, but it actually has no value. For example, theywere selling large quantitys of Garmin and Magellin GPS Map update cards. The problem with these cards is that there is no value, or functionallity, untill they are purchased and activated at a cash register of best buy, and all of these cards were never actually purchased or activated. So when your looking at a manifest of a multiple palletcustomer returns auction, and you see ANYTHING madefrom "Interactive Comm con", it is a worthless card that really should have been thrown out. DO NOT BELIEVE THE VALUE THEY PUT IT IS WORTH. They are not worth $100 each, they are worth nothing. There is no "customer return" involved in these cards, they simply are old, unactivated, worthless, cards.

They also will do this same practice with PSP-GO Cards. They are all unactivated and worthless.

There is even another complaint on here, of another buyer of techliquidators who had the same card practice happen to him on Computer software from microsoft.

These arevery dirty practice for them to be doing and sadly, this company is just a off-shoot of Best Buy. Techliqudators and deal tree are actually DBA names of Best Buy. Once I found that out, I will not even shop at best buy stores anymore.

Another thing to beware of is their ultra high manifest values on old, outdated, obscure electronics. At first glace these items will look good, but search them a bit and you will find (for one exact example:)that its a computer monitor from 1999, they maybe WAS worth $999.95 but now would be worth $20.

Also if you buy "Tech Grade" Auctions, these are complete garbage and salvage. Do not count on ANYTHING working. Out of 98 items, 5 worked and even those had physical damage making them of very low value. These are genaerally items you would find most other companys throwing out.

So please, be carefull, I personally have lost alot of money to Tech liquidators dirty practices and I see alot of other people getting ripped off as well.

Techliquidators used to be a good source for best buy'swholesale and customer returns, but not any longer.

We apologize for any negative experience you may have had with us.

We have addressed the Garmin issue and refunded individuals who notified of this problem. Unfortunately, this occasionally occurs when dealing with large quantities of inventory.  If you have not yet resolved this issue, please contact customer service and we'd be happy to help you.

Our product conditions range from new inventory to salvage.  We rely on the customer to discern product that is valuable to them and our MSRP values are just approximations, as product obviously depreciates over time.  By providing product part#, UPC and SKU, we enable customers to do the necessary research before bidding on an auction.

Currently, we are working to rename "Tech Grade" product to "salvage" on our site, to avoid possible confusion on the part of our customers.  Our attempt is to be upfront and clear about what the customer can expect from "Tech Grade" auctions.  For that reason, there is a clear description on every Tech Grade auction that states that the product most likely does not work. Nevertheless, this condition type is actually very popular with many of our loyal customers who make great use of it!

We are very sorry for the negative experience you have had and hope we can earn your business back in the future.  Please remember to read the user purchase agreement and terms & conditions (you can find them here: http://techliquidators.com/index.cfm/p/3/atb/6).  If you're in doubt about whether you will make use of tech grade product, please err on the side of caution and select product from us that is listed as new or refurbished.

Again, if we can help you resolve any outstanding issues, please contact our customer service at (877) 310-5083.

Thank you,

TechLiquidators Customer Service
