Teleten Fully Refunded This Client

#2UPDATE Employee

Tue, March 09, 2004

This post and the post for Complaint No. 11 were made by Tina Pollard of True Trust Mortgage. Both of her posts intentionally omit important facts and engage in hyperbole. This client's campaign had a start date of November 3, 2003.After her campaign began and she began receiving leads, Ms. Pollard first spoke to the customer service departmnt of Teleten. She stated that her leads were not meeting the parameters of her contract. At that point, her campaign was placedon a priority basis, and Teleten attempted to increase the number of leads being sent, and to provide more mleads that met the parameters of the contract. From November 3 through November 20, approximatetly 10 leads had been sent. On November 19, 2003, Ms. Pollard spoke to a customer service representative regarding the status of her campaign. On November 25, 2003, Ms. Pollard issued a written demand for a full refund. Further discussions and negotiations occurred between Ms. Pollard and the company regarding the terms for refunding the $1600 she has paid. On December 2, 2003, the company confirmed the terms of the refund agreement that has been reached in a letter to Ms. Pollard. Teleten agreed to pay the refund in two payments of $800, and the first payment was enclosed with this letter. The second and final payment of $800 was sent to Ms. Pollard on December 10, 2003. Both payments were sent by Federal Express -- Standard Overnight Delivery. Therefore, Ms. Pollard received a full refund, in just barely over a month from the start date of her campaign. Her allegations of not receiving responses to her calls and being left on hold for "hours" are not accurate.
