Teleten ripped me off back in late '04 for $,1500. All the exact same complaints that came before mine, and I see from visiting this site, many more of the same after mine. I spoke with many other angry brokers (myself included in the very angry category) who wanted to put together some kind of "class action" law suit against this bogus company. I eventually filed a small claims action, but then after paying more money to have the papers served - we find out they did a "midnight move out" of their old Wilshire Blvd. address. The new address was then tracked to a Storage facility address a few blocks away! The entire scam is based on the simple fact that if he "takes us" for $500 or $2,000, how hard are we gonna fight to get our money back. You win a summary judgement and what do you really have? A piece of paper allowing you to attach assets that aren't there??? I was dicked around for almost a year by them, finally filed the lawsuit, etc. Total time was over 15 months of wasted B.S. David Buddan and Teleten prey on this fact - we eventually get tired chasing a ghost, give up and realize we need to focus on getting our dwindled pipelines back up, due to spending countless hours and frustration, wanting restitution. I just cannot believe the FBI and local law enforcement hasn't cuffed these guys and locked em all up yet! They've been ripping us all off for years, laughing when depositing our hard earned money! I've got a file on Teleten that's thicker than any loan file - the difference is, I spent way more time on that file than any loan file and never saw one red cent. At least a good portion of my mortgage loan files I can count on to get paid. My recommendation for what it's worth; put a class action lawsuit together, you cannot fight this company and this owner on your own, like I tried to do. Oh, I heard that a few got their money back. Probably less than 2% of us though. Some even went to their office and bum rushed the door and demanded their money back, not leaving til he wrote out a "basketball" check. Good luck to all of my fellow Teleten victims. Somebody recently burned with new anger needs to head up a class action, count me in!!
