Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
Beware of "Entry-Level Marketing" positions that require "No Experience," but promise that you will be working with "Fourtune 500" companies, or high-profile accounts like professional sports teams-- No multi-million dollar account is going to be seviced by someone with "no experience necessary"-- think about it.

How to spot these scams:

1) there is no real website for you get any specific data (compare the following: www.homedepot.com/careers

www.terrawholesaleinc.com/

--Real companies offering real jobs will have real information about those jobs

2) when you call the company, the receptionist answers with a different company name

3) the company represents Fourtune500 companies, etc. but is located in some tiny back-office in the cuts

4) the initial phone call to "screen you" only asks a couple of broad qualifying questions about yourself, i.e. "Are you looking for full-time work?"

5) the "Initial Interview" sound more like a sales pitch than an interview-- telling you all about the "great opportunity"

6) they ask you for a second interview and tell you that it will be a "8-9hour" interview to "see your sales skills," but since it's an "interview" it will be unpaid

7)they ask you to sign anything that gives up any of your rights as a worker--i.e. to collect pay for a day's work...

I hope none of you fall for this, as I'm certain that, if you get the job, there would only be more screwing to come--and not the kind you'll like.

**Copy of follow-up/resoponse e-mail from me to Terra Wholesale (after being asked to return for an unpaid 9-hour interview):

""That was a total scam-- I can't believe you b*****s are actually getting people to fall for that "9-hour 2nd Interview" bull****.

I've been working as Management long enough to know that any interview, first, second, whatever, should take no longer than an hour--TOPS. In fact, I new your little b***h was full of s**t within seconds of her opening her mouth.

On top of that, you're not even going to *pay* these guys. The scam is obvious-- get a team of people together and cart them off somewhere to watch them "interview," --i.e. compete-- for a sales position at no cost to you, peddling your bullshit for 9 hours. Do you let them take breaks, or do you also make them piss and s*** and starve themselves, too? It wouldn't suprise me.

I hope you sleep well at night,

Tell all of your Piece-of-S*** "Managers" that they can be found on www.ripoffreport.com, as I will be posting this scam there, where it will be viewable during searches with your company names (plural) whenever anyone tries to look you pricks up.

GO F*** YOURSELVES!!!

As a result of this persons attitude i can tell they are definately a disgruntled ex employee, and learned nothing from the great attitude and positive growth in life that these people teach! if you have a personal issue with your inability to grow in a posotive nature you should not bash the people who giving such a posotive nourishment to the comunity. people like this are why the world is such a negative place! i have business affilliations with promotional marketers on a regular basis, i buy from them and love their products. those of you that read this please keep an open mind and enjoy their company and the opportunity they represent! thank you and have a wonderful day BILL

This is a deceptive "contract", as they put it. When you start out, they never do tell you that your being paid ONLY on comission. So, in that respect, it sucks. They give you no real information in the inital interview, and gives a SALES pitch on the company while feigning interest in your career goals and motivations. The kicker is when the so-called paid training is basically you trucking your butt around with some random dude, going to strangers selling "merchandise" such as foldable chairs, handheld fans and, sometimes, A's tickets. BUT, to be fair, this company is not without it's upside. If your persuing a cereer in sales; Pharm. Sales, Eng. Sales, Computer etc, this is the kind of position that will get your foot in the door. Sure, you'll never get anywhere with the company itself, but most of the people in TWInc, are actually cool guys. If your just starting out, this is a great summer job cause it will get you some face-to-face experience, and something to put on your resume if you stick around for a couple of months to a year and leave on good terms. My only warning is, DONT BELIEVE what they say about moving up quickly. You are on the whim of the owner of the company, NOTHING MORE. Some of the ppl working there have been there for YEARS and never moved up, not the so-called "advanced pace" they claim. Their whole business is based upon 1) a track record of getting ppl to by the merch and 2) how many people you can scam to stay around in the company. If you can't recruit people and dont like driving to random places to sell crap like disney books, then dont try this.
