Save yourself some time, trouble, money, and stress by avoiding this business at all costs. I have been screwed over so bad, I would not wish this on my worst enemy. I have read the other report on this business and was not shocked by what I heard, considering my story is the same, proving that my case was not a single incident, and that the other family did not invent the issues.

IN A NUTSHELL-Dealer advertised vehicle in great condition, when in reality the vehicle is barley usable as salvage-my local RV repair company does not even want to repair it, because its not worth it.

I found an RV through ebay that was just perfect for my family of six. It was advertised as, and these are quotes "All appliances work great", "Ready for your next trip", "Like New", "Excellent interior and exterior"...etc...... On and on the ad went about how great this RV was, that it needed no repairs and was "Ready to go!" With only 26,000 miles, I figured that it was in great condition because it hadn't been driven and was so excited to find such a great deal priced at only $15,500.

Included in the advertisement was a very recent and detailed "inspection report" that evaluated each system of the vehicle and aside from "ok" curtains, passed as either "Great" or "Very Good", including the "Like New" tires. Becuase the inspection appeared to be from a third party, I felt that this was adequate.

I contacted the dealer directly because they left over half a dozen contact numbers in their ad, and was told by them to make the deposit through paypal, but then I would have to pay the balance to them directly, not through ebay. Now that I look back on the situation, I realize that they did this to avoid ebay fees and the consumer protection acts ebay has in place. What a mistake.

I flew my family of six, including two small children, from Seattle, WA to Arlington, TX to pick up the RV and drive it home. I realized before the trip that as soon as the dealer had my money the instantly refused to return calls, or answer questions. They had my money, what importance was I now? After paying airfare for six, and a $100 taxi bill, we arrived at the dealer to pick up the RV. No one besides a mechanic was available to hand over the keys, he did not speak English. (How convenient). The RV had no plates and appeared very yellow and weathered, we figured that it was simply the pictures that showed poorly.

We had planned on driving home in 8 days, taking time to stop at amusement parks and making a family vacation of the trip. Some trip. We would have preferred a trip to hell over what we endured because of this fraudulent dealer. On the way home multiple problems arose ranging from the vehicle catching on fire, to the fact that NONE of the appliances worked. Here is a semi-complete list:

-No appliances worked. No fridge, no stove, no microwave, no air conditioning (middle of July 2007 heat-in TEXAS).

-No toilet or sinks worked

-No running water-hot or cold

-Interior infested with insects

-Interior rotted out from severe long term water damage

-No interior lights worked

-No system monitors worked

-Weak breaks

-Leaky roof

-No heater

-LP Gas tank unusable

-A tire blew as my family was going 60 mph on the freeway nearly tipping the RV onto its side.....less than 100 miles away from the dealer! We were told that had another tire popped we would have flipped. Four of five tires had to be replaced due to severe cracking/damage. That was an unexpected $1200.00 spent in the middle of a family vacation, not to mention the stress, danger, and time spent.

-The generator caught fire

So my family of six was left with no bathroom, water, lights, air conditioning, or place to make/store food for over a week as we made the peril trip home. Not to mention living in a moldy, infested tin can with popping tires.

To be fair to us, we discovered these problems little by little every day as the trip went on. With no other way home and with a business to get back to, we figured the dealer would reimburse us for the repairs up to the condition advertised and that would be that, boy were we wrong.

After surviving the trip, halleluiah, we attempted to call the dealer, write the dealer, email the dealer and to no avail. Eventually, after many many hours of my time spent hunting the d**n people down, the dealer said to "get them a number" of what it would take to fix the problems but when finding out it would take nearly $16,000 to put the RV in useable condition, they completely cut of all communication and said that "suing us" was the only way we'd get a penny out of them. Can you spell F-R-A-U-D.

I was taken advantage of by these people and my family nearly killed because of their illegal actions.

I have since hired an attorney in Arlington who is pursuing the case and who feels very strongly that a judge will favor my side based on the facts of the case. I sincerely hope that this post helps others avoid making the same mistake and that it helps bring forth other victims of this "business" to take a stand.

I will update this post as soon as anything changes. Oh, and I DARE Texas Auto liquidators to reply, my attorney would love to include even more of your lies and fraudulent statements in my lawsuit against your business.

I was wondering if any of your complaints were being handled by a lawyer?  I also obtained a lawyer and she was looking into other cases that may be brought up against this dealership.  I would also like to know if you did follow through with a lawsuit, and were satisfied with the outcome?   Any information would be appreciated.

Same situation happened to me with a truck I bought from them. Paid 23k+ shipping for the truck! It didn't start, bald flat tires, different wheels than what was in the pictures, parts missing, damage all over the truck, roof damage and alot more! I had to buy another truck while I take them to court.

I am wondeering how they can get away with this kind of business. There should be a class action lawsuit against them!

My insurance company is also involved as they claimed damage was during shipping. Wheels were stolen during shipping. Investigation proved wrong and now we will see what happens in court.

Someone should be really looking into this kind of fraud! If the state of Texas allows this kind of abuse to be permitted, then this is even a much bigger issue.
