Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
To anyone trying to sell a used vehicle in ANY paper.

My friend and I have just recently moved to California from another state. Due to down sizeing, we sold a car before the move.

In the prevoius state we were harrassed on a daily basis from a Bryant from The Big Lot, trying to get us to advertise our car with his company on the Internet.

This guy gets your phone # right out of the paper, puts you in his computer and the harrassment begins!

We never actually spoke to him, instead there would be a very long computerized message left on our Cell phones for us to pay for, while this message was going off.

This message sounds like a real person is actually leaving it, so it hooks you in the begining.

When we changed our number from our cell in the paper to the home phone, low and behold the home phone # has these harrassing long messages on them!

Now we are in California, and we have one more car to sell. Since we just moved here, no one but very close family has our cell phone #'s. We had one more car to sell.

We noticed right after we put the ad in the paper for the car here in California, we would each get a hang-up call EVERY DAY, with a big screeach before the caller hung up.

Since we are not working yet we both answer our cells when they ring. Bryant's system is designed to leave messages on voice mail, or answering machines, so when you personally answer, you get a period of silence where your'e going, hello, hello, hello, and then a big loud screech hits your ear, and then your'e hung up on.

I have been furious about this, and I'm sure many other people are too.

This is a violation of my rights, and this is total harrassment.

Thank God someone came up with this Website to report these jerks! Please e.mail this web site to everyone in your address book. I DO NOT work for this site, but I do know we all have to fight back or every time we give our phone numbers out, we will end up with a continuos flow of soliciting calls ringing our Cell and home phones.

Do-Not-Call List

thebiglot.com Has helped thousands of people sell their vehicles, mine included. They are a wonderful company that searches through different ads throughout the country, only calling about thos vehicles that have sold well on their websites in the past. I do not work for this company, but believe that if you do not want to be called about this service, do not list you CELL phone number in the paper for EVERYONE to see (duh!) and also, when you recieve a call from them, ask them to please remove you from their calling list, and this request will be honored; the law requires it to be. A good consumer is a smart consumer, children.
