Returning the merchandise in resalable condition is always accepted within the terms of the order. While this order was returned within the terms of the sale (21 day trial period), the report was damaged and could not be resold. Why would you tape something to the front of a paper cover report? Placing a note in the return envelope with the reports would have been enough, there was no reason to tape the note to the paper cover of the report. The tape stuck to this paper cover and when it was attempted to be removed, the tape tore the cover, making it not able to be resold. Anytime merchandise is returned to any company, it cannot be damaged, this is just common knowledge. If it is damaged, it can not be resold. If you have called our offices and received voice mail, this is common practice. We receive many phone calls every day and do not have enough staff to answer the phone each time it rings, which is why we have a voice mail system to answer when we are not available. We process hundreds of orders each month with hundreds of satisfied customers. Caroline, if you did not want the package, we allow returns within the terms as long as the goods are not damaged.
