i have hade it with you and the LIC store i will make a compliant about the treatment that i receive on 03/28/02 and including the 20 time about my compliant your saleperson and your tech assoc give me nother but pure B'S'! and i ment it

your guy dont know anything about your computer and i dont give a d**n if you say that all your tech assoc are highly train well to me after 20 time and 2 video card latter you know what it impossible to talk with you perople you because you think i'm little person and that your god of the whole freakin universe the following person that i saw at bestbuy store#478

I have worked in the tech industry for going on 15 years now and finally own my own repair service. I hardly ever comment on this stuff, but I had to drop Jean a note to say THANK YOU! Your advice is sound and could save people A LOT of trouble if they will take it. By the time a problem gets to me, people are already furious with Gateway, HP, Compaq, Best Buy, Circut City...all of them...it makes it hard to do my job, but then again, it's problems like these that keep me in business. A little forethought, planning, checking could save a lot of hassles later. Words of advice from my grandma...Do your homework, young lady!

1. Never buy a extended warranty for anything thats going to be obsolete in a few months, let alone a year. I wouldnt buy one period. 2.Sony makes great walkmans...Well they sound great, but personally I think there under powered and dont play very loud,, how is the power on that laptop ?? I think if you read ANY reviews you will find that Dell it probably your best bet if your going to buy proprietary computer (pfewwy I spit a big `ol green loogie on computers that cant be upgraded without you buying there over priced parts) where its a pain to fix or upgrade ( owned a Compaq Presario 8702 some years ago,, I paid like $1500 for it at the time and a year or so later I called them to ask what it would cost to upgrade the RAM to 256 and it was priced at $700.00 dollars,, NO S*IT,, I remember the price because it was so unbelievable) and if you get a bad one you can't fix it,, or it will cost you more than the computer to do it. 3. I would always wait to buy the second generation computer or at least wait to read about how they are doing tech wise.. I learned that from a book on how to buy a computer and it was the best bit if advice I can give you. If you dont know a lot about computers get a cheap old one to learn on, where there are fixes for it and updated for it. If you want to buy a computer and dont know much about computers,,go to the library and read up on them first how to buy a computer for starters,, how to maintain a computer. If you have a friend or know a nerd, pay the geek to help you shop for one,, hell, he would probably do it for free just so he can check out the new hardware,, (ohh baby.. look at that hard drive,, ahh that is sooo eeeeeeeeeahhhhhhh.. and `eh runs to the bathroom to clean himself :-) 4 If you know enough to load drivers and maintain a computer to some extent build one yourself. or have someone build one for you,, you will get better parts for the price (G Force Video cards rules BROTHER,, I dont know what youve been smokin) and if something goes wrong most work out there home computer freaks will back up there work for a year. I do... or wont over charge you for the labor, if you get good parts BRO.. all good parts have a long warranty,, the Western Digital hard drive I just bought is backed for 3 years. 5 And as far a Bestbuy goes, from the sounds of it,, I want to say they were right from the sounds of your mouth, intellect and attitude, I would have called security on you also...and if the second video card didnt work, its either that something else is wrong the computer or its the end-user,, and from the sounds of it I'm betting its the latter I'm sure that most of the people that read your story have pretty much extrapolate that for themselves you just make yourself sound bad when you carry on like that. Bestbuy has done people bad,, but I think what they lack in personal/help and morals, but you went there for a reason,, Prices I assume they still are doing some seriously wrong things which I plan on going into in great detail later with my own column. I will let everyone know right off,, before you put your cash in the tellers hand, open the package and make sure that theres something in the box,, or its what its suppose to be I will go into details later after I call there head quarters tomorrow and give them chance to say NO again.

Ok, maybe the person who wrote to speak English was right. If you are going to come onto this website and flip like that, I agree, that is a mental condition. And to come on here and swear at someone, I just guess you don't have the education to speak, or type proper english. But save us all some time, hold back your comments.

he right i was with hime and to Russell - Fredericksburg, Virginia you should watch your f* ing mouth with lightfluid iggnorance @$$#$%& and set you on fire now since i took care of that i was with my counsin on that day he was very upset and when he upset he have a medical condition so if have a f* problem with that take up with me and show you how i deal with someone make fun of my counsin and trust me you dont want to know ii work for the city of ny and i know friend that work for the consumer affair and i told i see what that i can do for him because he family and family help family i think that best buy dont know anything about computer because while he waiting in my truck i when in to see if they know anything and trust me if they say they know right the only thing they know is to shover s@#! and whole load of it and i tell you one thing i see what happen for my self and sure enuff they gave him the crap story that you have to buy this and that because they all care about money so be warn thank you

circuit city is a rip off When u buy extended warranty from circuit city or best buy they will rip u off. frist i used to work for ge-zurich. when u buy the contract make sure u read it before u buy it. sales man will do anything to sell u the contract because they get commission on it. let me give u good example, when i went to circuit city and best buy to buy a computer and they kepp on borthering u about the warrenty. both of the told me that it covered everything. After i asked them to see the contract showed them the part what is not covered they did not say one word. second ge dont care either. some worker will try to help u out but most of them dont give a s**t. all they worried about is theyre time with customer. they will make the customer call back. the problem start at the supervior, and the second level tech. when u aske to speak to supervisor 99% of the time they will tell u there is no supervisor there. But sctually there is a superviosr there all of the time. Ge has one of the worest customer service.
