thedigitalnerds Bait and Switch - Gotta Add Batteries at Obscene Prices ripoff Internet
Placed an order for a camera. The email confirmation requests that you call to confirm the order. When I place the call, I am given the hard sell to add batteries to the package. At that moment, I do not have a good feel for what a fair price for a spare battery would be, so I politely reply "Just the camera today thanks."
I am then told that the camera I am buying is a refurb with only a chinese language module. I am told that the website clearly states this.
I can't find it, can you?

I then state that I would like to cancel my order, the representative replies "I don't care about you or your bank."
At this point my card has not been charged, but there are surely some shady dealings going on here.
