The Dump Furniture Store Dump Furniture - Atlanta Dump is the actual DUMP Atlanta, Georgia
I went to the Atlanta Dump Furniture store for its grand opening on the 13th of March. We bought the last childrens bedroom set that we liked. When we were checking out, our salesman setup a delivery date of 19 March and told us that someone from the delivery company will call us to confirm our delivery.
On the 18th we patiently waited for a call and never received one. So we again waited on the 19th from 1-5 pm like the salesman advised us. Once that timeframe came and went, we called customer service and they called the delivery company and told us that the delivery company was actually trying to get a hold of us to ask us to come and pickup the mattress because their truck was packed full already, that was why we didn't receive our bedroom set on the 19th. So once we cleared that up, our salesman called us on the 22nd and guaranteed a delivery between 2-6 on the 23rd of March. Immediately following his phone call we received an automated call confirming our delivery time of 2-6 pm on the 23rd. Well we waited patiently till 730 and still no phone call from anyone on our delivery. So we called customer service rep and was promptly told that the delivery truck was behind and that to expect the delivery around 930. At that time I asked the customer service rep for a total refund. She said she could not do that and if we refused delivery then we would have to pay a restocking fee. I asked to talk to a manager and at that time I asked to speak to her manager and she had the nerve to tell me that (1) no one higher than her can talk to me then (2) she said the manager will call me when its convenient for them. I continue to ask to speak to a manager and she then told me that she was hanging up on me because her "allotted" time for me was up.
This is by far the WORST experience I have ever had with a furniture company. I do not recommend this and would advise anyone thinking about the Dump to seriously reconsider their business.
