Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
WE PURCHASED OUR FURNITURE IN THE BEGINNING OF JUNE BUT IT WAS ON BACKORDER.

THEY SAID IT WOULD BE DELIVERED IN 2-3 WEEKS! BUT IT NEVER WAS WE CALLED CONTIUOUSLY TRYING TO FIND OUT WHERE THE FURNITURE WAS WE WERE NOT GONNA PAY FOR SOMETHING WE DID NTO HAVE.

FINALLY WE SPOKE TO SOMEONE AND WE RECEIVED OUR FURNITURE IN THE MIDDLE OF AUGUST 2 1/2 MONTHS LATER. THAT IS SOME 2-3 WEEKS! AND TO TOP THAT ONE OF THE PEICES WAS BROKE, SO WE THEN HAD TO HAVE THAT REPLACED.

THE WHOLE THING WAS BULL AND A BIG HASSLE.

I WILL NEVER GO TO THE ROOMSTORE AGAIN AND I DON'T RECCOMEND YOU DO EITHER.

They filed the following rebuttal to the above Rip-Off Report: Their email: [email protected] Their name: Steve Sinclair Their relationship to the company: Supporter Rebuttal: I'm sorry you had a problem getting your furniture. Unfortunately, the RoomStore, like any other furniture store in your area, (Star, Fingers, Bassett, etc.) doesn't have stock of 100% of the items all of the time... It's a fact of life. Many times, the suppliers of furniture stores cannot keep up with the demand of particular items. Keep in mind, that they buy supplies from the mills that make the upholstery to put on the products, springs for the seating, etc. Also, Tropical storm Allison threw everything into turmoil in the Houston area. Some shipments we were expecting were delayed, and the increase in business was totally unexpected. In fact, it was difficult to keep up with all of the flood related orders coming in, particularly in the Humble area, and the Nasa Road location. The salesperson involved is very important to make sure that you are informed of any delays, etc. THEY DON'T GET PAID until it's in your home. Do you honestly think that they didn't want their money?? You say that a piece was damaged, and needed to be replaced. It happens!! This is a man made product, delivered by people... At least it was replaced. I hope your next furniture purchase is better, but I hope I shed some light on what was going on in Houston when you bought.
