We recently purchased over $5000 dollars worth of furniture at The Roomstore.

After the furniture was delivered, we discovered to our horror, that almost every piece was damaged or defective.

The dinette set table was scratched and almost every chair had stained seat cushions.

We had to return a sofa and loveseat that had separated seams and a damaged sleeper mechanism.

We called the regional manager to authorize a return and refund but he flatly refused to do so claiming that the Roomstore has a "no return policy".

He stated that he would send replacement furniture until we were satisfied. When received the second replacement sofa it had scratches on the leather!

When this was returned we got back the exact same sofa that we had sent in the first time!!!! Unbelievable!!!

Most of the furniture they have sent us has had some sort of damage or defect. The delivery service used by the Roomstore is also totally incompetent.

Most of the Roomstore furniture delivery people were untrained and inept.

The back of their delivery truck looked like a rolling flea-market; everything loose and disorganized, original packaging removed, and nothing tied down.

We have yet to be satisfied with their furniture and we have written a complaint to our state's attorney general and are considering legal action against the Roomstore for their shoddy products and incompetent service. CAVEAT EMPTOR; AVOID THE ROOMSTORE LIKE THE PLAGUE!!!!!
