THEDIGITALNERDS This Company won't sell you the item unless you but their overpriced accesories. They will tell you is backordered or unavailable. ripoff New Jersey New York
I tried to place an order for a Olympus Stylus 770SW for a ridiculous low price of $239. This camera was selling everywhere else for at least $280. It was too good to believe and I could not pass the oppportunity do I placed an order in the evening of 08/07/07.
Immediately after placing the order, I got an email saying I needed to call within 24 hrs to "CONFIRM MY ORDER". I went to work the next morning and was thinking this was a little suspicious since I never had to call a company to "confirm" an order.
On the morning of 08/08/07 I received phone calls at home and my cell phone all day long from these guys trying to "confirm" the order. They left several voicemail messages to call them back. I could not answer since I was at work and then I had to take my daughter to the emergency room and did not feel like calling these nerds.
Finally, when I got home I called them back and they said they were just trying to "confirm" the order, blah blah blah. First of all, these guys have are unfriendly, rude, and pushy. When I asked the guy if the camera was NEW and he just changed the subject and did not answer the question. Then he said that the camera I have ordered was not going to start unless I purchased the overpriced memory card he was trying to add, also tried to sell me the overpriced extended life battery and the extended service plan, etc.
After I declined all of his offers he said, the camera is backorder for 6 weeks. I was fed up and just said to cancel the order. He said he would and hang up.

Due to the product you ordered being out of stock for 6-8 weeks from today's date. We have cancelled the order. when or if we get the product again in stock soon will send you an email to place an order please do not resubmit your order again. sorry again and thanks for your understanding.
In conclusion, these company may advertise very low price electronis items but what they don't mentioned is that they won't sell them unless you purchase their expensive accessories. They are misleading, unprofessional, and rude salespeople. I had a horrible experience and will never try to shop THEDIGITALNERDS.COM again! They don't tell you that you need to buy their overpriced accesories in order to get the cheap camera which may or may not be a NEW camera.
