Dealing with TheFurniture.com is not easy and not a pleasant experience. Yes, they do offer the best deals on furniture out there. But communicating with people there and their follow-up skills are absolutely difficult to deal with. We furnished our entire house through TheFurniture.com thinking that we were getting the best deal for the buck. We placed our order in June and after constantly calling them on status on delivery, we never got anywhere until I contacted the manufacturer directly. Apparently all the furniture was available in June and the manufacturer would have shipped everything if TheFurniture.com paid for it. Here's a kicker....we paid in full in June and they issued payment to the manufacturer in September. The furniture finally arrived in 1st week of November. One sofa was dented and we immediately contacted TheFuniture.com and spoke to Samantha & Sergie (extremely pleasant people to talk to). They tried to have the sofa replaced, but unfortunately the manufacturer discontinued that particular model and we had love seat and 2 chairs and couldn't really return the items. Samantha attempted to find someone to repair but couldn't/didnt do much...I found couple of local guys who gave estimates. I ran the estimates by Samantha finally had someone do an in-house repairs. Originally the repair estimate was around $350 with someone I found online, who would pick up and drop off the sofa depending upon distance (additional charges) and would have taken 3-4 weeks and when the repair was completed, the charges came to $490. I paid the individual and submitted the invoice to Samantha for reimbursement. The response that I got from her was we agreed to $350 and not $490 so the reimbursement is going to be $350 and $490 even though were ordering another piece of furniture that the amounts could be adjusted towards. What Im really worried about is after spending thousands of dollars furnishing the entire house through TheFurniture.com, if there is a problem with the furniture, the 5yr warranty that theyve offered on all the furniture is worthless. If they couldnt do anything about a sofa then what would they do if God for bid something happened to the remainder of the furniture.
