The way that I see it buyers purchase something and they are entitled to a good product. So when a report is filed I think everything should be out in the open. Once these reports are made they are here to stay. But people can help but I don't think that people should be insulting one another.

Many times, when "Team Rebut" springs into action, their questions or comments are spot on.....although abrasive at times.
When people are called out because they misspell words for example, than that is going too far.
I'm no outlaw, like Josie Wales, or on any Rebut Team. I'm just a guy that likes to read this stuff.

And I don't think we feel that we are "know it alls" and do not support attacks on people. This site has features that allow people to communicate and I think its important to lay everything out in the open so everyone gets an understanding of the situation. These reports are not allways true and can be used for slanderous situations. If someone put something up really stupid about you I'm pretty sure you hope that at least 1 person would call it out. Again......I can say that the comment above that was directed towards buyer is an attack but its quite obvious that he got the shaft from this seller and launching this kind of verbal assault is not what this site is meant for.

I think its fair to say that team rebutt helps draw out the truth through simple questions and debate. Some reports are exagerated and full of lies. Outsiders such as team rebutt can help clear the air. In this case this buyer took a risk and made a major purchase but got the shaft. I don't think ebay should remove feedback either. But I would only purchase project cars off of ebay. Cars are cars and its difficult to get every bit of detail down. But don't hate team rebutt for telling the truth and bringing facts out that otherwise left out of initial reports. There are 2 sides to every report.

You had ZERO responsibility in this, right? Its all the fault of the dealer and you did all you can to prevent this...is that your case? What YOU did here is THROW COMMON SENSE OUT THE WINDOW to buy a used car sight unseen on the internet. Now may you enjoy your rewards. But no need to be said because P. T. Barnum would be very proud of you because you proved his point..."A sucker is born every minute."
