James and Scott Cook of Thomasville Carriers, are defrauding customers by traveling through new developments in an 18 wheeler marked "Thomasville Furniture" and claiming to be liquidating the Thomasville showroom.

They pass themselves off as being associated with and selling Thomasville Furniture. I placed a call to Thomasville Furniture and they know all about them and they have NO association with Thomasville Carriers at all.

I was very skeptical when my wife told me some men in an 18 wheeler were coming through the neighborhood selling furniture. But she said some neighbors said they did it every year.

So, my wife and I purchased a dining room set and bombay table from them. I asked what kind of warranty came with the furniture and Scott Cook told me a 1 year warranty. He said they would enter our name and address in their computer then they returned and we would receive the warranty information via the mail in a few weeks.

Well, we have received nothing. I have placed numerous calls to the Thomasville carriers number (336-736-9522) and all have gone unreturned.

Please make buyer's aware of these SCAM ARTISTS!

A truck came through your neighborhood selling furniture. Big deal! When they sold you the dining room set was it boxed up? Was the name of the manufacture on the box? Is there a problem that you need the warranty enforced or are you embarrased and just want to b***h about something! Do you like the set you bought? If not why did you buy it?
