i am also a former level propane employee and have worked for two other propane companies in the last 32 years so i do have knowledge of what i speak of. level propane did not get a fair shake in this industry. like any other business there are influential people in larger competing companies. i can tell you mr maloof was an honest man and fun to work for and if any mistake was made on his part was that he wanted to grow the company very fast. i think that is what got the attention and angered the influential people of the larger competition. we took the customers away from the compitition with ease. bill had implemented programs that worked for the consumers plus we had the lowest prices. mr maloof was not new too starting and running businesses successfully. as a employee early on in the beginning of level propane i remember sitting in bill's car with him listening to a promo tape for radio advertising and him asking my opinion. i would work for someone like that anytime. i believe you can trust thrifty propane.

Seems like everyone I talk to who has had Thrifty Propane says their service is terrible. And from what I can gather, their prices aren't that good either. Whether or not they're that bad, if they're in any way asscociated with Level, you can definitely count me out. I don't care if they're giving the stuff away!

I have noticed that Thrifty Propane hasn't had a single customer complaint. Maybe it's because they're the only company in the industry that posts their price on the web every day.

The prinipals in Thrifty Propane are indeed the former owners of Level Propane. The wife of Bill Maloof's son is the new president and Mrs. Maloof is the CEO and Bill Maloof is listed as an adviser I don't know about the Level dealings completely even though I am aformer customer of level. there were many registered complaints against Level and also a class action lawsuit. The Better Business Bureua has taken Thrifty Propane off the membership because of their failure to disclose the officers and owners complete details. In defense of Thrifty Propane, in the 3 years they have been in business they haven't had any complaints. It's the age old deal "Let the buyer beware". After my experiance with Level, at the end, I would not deal with Thrifty Because of the involvement of the Maloof's.

Thrifty Propane is not the alter-ego of Level, and is not associated in any way with Level Propane Gas. Thrifty Propane is a thriving, independent business that is being slandered by the big propane companies because of lower costs and better service. Don't fall for the cries of the fat cats.
