Thrity Car Rental Luis Munoz Marin Intl Airport Accused of stealing a Tool Sticker Marginal Carolina Puerto Rico
On June I went to Puerto Rico for a 4 day business purpose. I made the mistake of renting a vehicle with Thrifty,. First they say the location is at the airport which is not, after waiting 45 mins at the airport after calling them, finally we arrive at the company outside the airport. It was almost time to close and the employee run me thru the inspection, not even showing me th jack or spare tire. It was time for them to close and they are in a rush to get out. When I returned the car I was charged $25 for a toll sticker I took,and they never showed me as placed in the vehicle. I used the toll once and pay cash. The person atteding me basically call me a lier because the toll dont take any cash now. But I did pay cash. I have no motive to steal this sticker I live in San Antonio Texas, I'm a senior NCO, retired from the US Army and work for the Veterans Administration, Why should I steal it for? $10 profit? I tried many times calling and leving messages by phone and email and never got an answer back from the company management. Be careful with this company somebody is loosing or stealing at this comp[any and they are looking for a scapegoat to pay for as me. I'm from Puerto Rico born and raised there, I'm not a tourist, but I feel sorry for those that doen't know he bad habits of some companies in Puerto Rico, Thrifty rental is one of them now. Be aware!
