I had been working for Big-O Tires for two years when I was offered a job at Tire Works. I went for my interveiw and met with the owner of the company Roshie Wightman, it went great,we agreed on $22.00 an hour.

The following Monday I started my new job, could'nt wait. At the time I was working out of my tool cart, basic tools. I had put 50 hours in that week. $1760.00. Knowing they would hold my first weeks check, that Saturday I made arrangements to have my Snap-On tool delivered to the shop that day.

Upon delivery of my tool-box,it rolled off the back of the tow truck onto the middle of the street in front of the shop, tools everywhere I could'nt believe my eyes. After recovering my tools and tool box I started trying to figure out who was responsible for my losses. Nobody from the tow truck company or my employer would give me advice. So I had to take matter in my own hands.

I contacted the insurance commission of the state of Nevada and filed a complaint. As it turned out the tow truck was responsible for my losses. In my attempt of resovling who was going to replace my box I was out of a job and and my pay that I had earned.

After filling a complaint with the Labor Commission I have found out there has been numerous wage claims against this terrible company. I do believe I will be looking for a lawyor real soon, never before have I ever been ripped-off like this before in my life.

Not only do I have witnesses that knew I worked there and the Manager Daylin, who got me the job. He was a co-worker at Big O Tires where I previously worked. I had people that knew I worked there write notorized letters stating that they knew and saw me working there yet this wasn't good enough. The Labor Commissioner's Office could not get my money for me. There were numerous others that filed and got paid that did not have the proof that I had. Granted, my claim was for the most money as the Labor Commissioner added penalties and interest. All I was interested in was getting my pay, what I worked for and earned.
