TLG Great Fun Fraudulenly Charged My My Credit Card Great fun is a rip off and stole my money Trumbull Connecticut
I was checking my account history the other day and noticed a $35.99 charge from this company called Great Fun. Shocked about a charge I never made I called the phone number attached to the charge. It was answered by a woman whos name I cannot recall and I asked her about this charge and told her that I did not authorize it.
At this point she becomes very hostile and rude and told me that I did authorize the charge and asked for membership in their program when I signed up for Columbia House Records. That there was a box to check offering a trial membership.
I am the type of person that is very anal about trying to read all the fine print especially when signing up for something online. I never authorized a trial membership in anything nor did I supply them with my credit card number.
After being hung up on several times I finally spoke to a supervisor for Great fun named Victor who was even ruder than the first lady. He told me that my membership would be cancelled and that I would be creditted the $35.99 back to my account within 48 hours.
Well it's now been over 2 weeks and no refund. I call them every other day and get the same response, that my membership has been cancelled and my refund has been issued.
