Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
My first bad experience happened a year ago when I showed up to refinance my vehicle on my own.

I sat down with a salesman and one of his associate. She took my information and my ID card to go make copies and never came back. They try to sell me a new vehicle which I refused many times. Salesman try to peer pressure me to make a purchase I then got mad and requested the lady to bring me back my documents. As I was leaving he called his associate and asked her to bring me the keys to a Camry! I had to get loud and put myself in a very uncomfortable situation to get my ID back and flee from the place.

Then in mid January, Shareen called me and told me that she had a great news for me. I was pre approved to refinance my vehicle and she wanted to help me out.

I showed up on early February to go talk with her. First of all, the lady was not there so I sat down with someone else ( Marie Pierre ) and started by looking up my file with them. She requested my Social and told me that my file was outdated so I had to update it on her computer. She instead made me maliciously fill up a credit application without my consent (to only realise it a week later) So then we started negociating and doing math. My plan was to keep the remaining payment period left on my car and add an extended Warranty and have them lower my interest which Shareen told me she wouldn't have any problem doing. So Marie pierre started going back and forth between her office I was sitting at and a finance officer's office to get numbers. Everytime she would bring me numbers that wouldn't add up. So I told her to let me talk to the person in charge of the finances. I sat down with Mike and he started giving me numbers from his computer, which he was being very carefull of hiding the screen from me, and he then told me that he could not do the refinancing because that would make me pay sales tax on the vehicle twice ( so why call me in in the first place) he then suggested that it would be better for me to buy a new car. which I refused for the 15th time. He said he would have to talk to someone else and get back to me within couple days.

A week went by and I didn't received any call from their part so I went back. I met Shaun and Shareen who came and shook my hand (she looked very uncomfortable) and then left me with shaun. Shaun told me that they had to take a shot at refinancing me but it wasn't guaranteed but he would get back with me personally the day after.

Back at my house at the end of the very same week, I get a mail from PNC bank telling me that my credit application was declined! Who is PNC bank? The bank Toyota of hollywood works with apparently. So I called them and asked them when was this credit check done. It was done the day I was at their dealership.

So to sum this book I just wrote.

Toyota of hollywood tricked me into coming and try to refinance my car ( by buying a new one or extending my payments ) by telling me I was pre-approved ( which was not true ). They then ran my credit information without my consent when I actually showed up there and send a credit application in my name to a bank I didn't not knew. They then tried to sell me a new vehicle which I made clear wasn't the reason they brought me here. In total I wasted 6 hours of my time at their place and another 30 minutes writting here.

Avoid this place at all cost! you will just get duped like I have been.

Oh and btw do not expect them to appologize to you because they will deny the facts and assure you they are a lawful business.

Good luck.

Every person is entitled to express themselves and exercise their freedom of speech. I take pride in the opportunity to assist and help our customers by offering different programs that may be able to get them a better payment or interest rate.

I explain in detail, that they must qualify in order to benefit from these programs. This means that they must make payments on time and have a satisfactory credit rating.

A full disclosure is always given that we will check credit, and that we do not refinance vehicles, but may offer a better deal on a new vehicle purchase, if available and with the customer's final approval.

I do understand that a customer may get frustrated in the event that they did not qualify for any of the programs.  I have no reason to lie about our procedures or programs, and have helped many other customers that came in and qualified for benefits.

Defamation of Character

Any intentional false communication, either written or spoken, that harms a person's reputation; decreases the respect, regard, or confidence in which a person is held; or induces disparaging, hostile, or disagreeable opinions or feelings against a person.

Defamation may be a criminal or civil charge. It encompasses both written statements, known as libel, and spoken statements, called slander.

I am a very professional and respectful individual. This person (name not known) does have the right and freedom to express her opinions and statements.

However it is not morally right to make such accusations regarding my character especially, involving a minor.

I work for a very diverse and multicultural equal opportunity employer. We do not tolerate and treat our customers in the manner that is stated.

This person appears to have a very personal vendetta against me and other individuals that work for the company, even after her first posting that was done a year ago.

It is obvious that her intent, is to use any extreme measure of expression that she can gain access too, even at the extend of posting misleading or incorrect information involving my personal character.

You can also 'Google' this- CAR SALES: TRICKS OF THE TRADE DATELINE NBC CONSUMER ALERT, and watch the undercover video of how Tori was 'tricked' by the dealership when she went to purchase a car. You will also see how the finance manager changed the monthly income on Tori's credit application in order to 'trick' the bank so she could get financing.

CLEMENT, TOYOTA DEALERSHIPS ALL OVER AMERICA HAVE LOST THE VOLUME OF SALES ON NEW VEHICLES........

#7Consumer Comment

Mon, February 13, 2012

since 2003 up until 2007, when sales of new vehicles in the USA was at its peak.

These same dealerships are experiencing slow sales, due to the poor economy. So, some Toyota dealerships will have their salespeople contact potential buyers and they will tell them just about anything to get them into the dealership, in an attempt to make a sale.

Most Toyota dealerships have unethical owners and sales managers. The salespeople are under pressure by these unethical sales managers, because the owners want increased sales.

It's that simple.

Even Toyota Corporation is being controlled by unethical people. It's just a reflection of how business is conducted in the United States of America. Our entire system in the USA, including our government, is corrupt. That's why there are so many problems. But the politicians in this country don't really care, because they are becoming wealthy as a result of all the corruption.

***Feel free to 'Google' this- ELIZABETH WARREN GRILLS GEITHNER, CRITICIZES TREASURY'S FORECLOSURE PROGRAM PBS, and watch that 6 minute 17 second interview on the web.

There's a segment where she talks about Car dealers. (At around 4 minutes 50 seconds into the interview.) Listen very carefully to what she says, and you will be able to understand that our politicians really do not care about most consumers in this country.

Good luck to you.

WELCOME TO AMERICA- ONE BIG CAR DEALERSHIP
