Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
I started service in April of 2001. I get a billing statement once every 4 months. My second billing statement shows that I owe over $300, so I called them (866) 877-3186 to find out. The person I talked to (Matthew Skurkay) said that I have not paid my first statement of $123.35.

And I told him that I mailed it out on 9/4/01 and was cashed by Worldcom Wireless on 9/24/01. I had also mailed out my second billing statement on 1/4/02 and the check was cashed on 1/16/02. I asked him what I need to do to prove myself as well as the 4 month billing cycle and about cancelling the service. He told me that there is a early cancellation fee so I better stay until April 2002.

He acknowledges that there were computer problems all last year and connected me to speak with Michelle. I do not know if Michelle is a supervisor or what so I just followed their request and fax Michelle (800)335-7338 my bank statement of the check cashed as well as a copy of the check itself on 1/28/02. On 2/5/02, I realized that my cell services were disabled and could not make phone calls. I called them back and spoke to (Liz GHM), and she would not let me speak with a supervisor. She told me that I needed to pay the outstanding due to get the service reconnected. I faxed a second copy of the bank check to Michelle. I called again the same week and requested to speak with Michelle, yet they refused.

I left them my name and number several times. Later that month, I was apply for a credit card and realized that MCI WorldCom reported me to the credit bureau of late payments. But I remembered speaking with Matthew that they will not report anyone to the credit bureau because of the known computer problems they've been having. On 2/26/02, I spoke to Anna at 1:15pm because I got another statement demanding the overdue amount as well as the February payment of $33.98 due on March 8th.

I told Anna that I have not had service all this month as wel as requested to speak with Michelle or any Manager. She put me on hold a couple times and told me that a supervisor will call me back. No one did So I called back and spoke to Andrew, yet he said straight out that Michelle and supervisors do not answer the phones.

He gave me the e-mail that the supervisors and Michelle supposedly reads, yet I have not gotten any replies.

I am frustrated, lost and don't know what to do. Please help me. Is there anyway for me to dispute the late payment fees from the credit bureau? Should I even have to pay the February billing statement due this March 8th?

Thanks,

Trang
