I can't believe these frauds are still in business. I dealt with them several years back and thought they would be gone by now. We didn't end up using our certificate and just ended up throwing it out after purchasing our family van. There were so many terms attached that it made it difficult to use.
First question I have is why do they call themselves Travel America when they're clearly operating out of Langley, British Columbia Canada? Right from the start it appears to be one big lie.
As a medical professional I wanted to dig deeper and try and understand why they would choose such a generic name "Travel America." Well here's the answer, because it's so difficult to find them in search engines and BBB's when their name is mixed up with thousands of other companies and articles that have incorporated the term Travel America in their company name and material.
Bottom line is this. If you dig deep enough you will find the complaints. And you will find reports from ex employees all over the web as well.

It's about time the truth comes out about these fraudulent travel promotion companies. There is a buyer beware special airing on ABC about these types of scams. I hope someone puts a stop to this in the White House. We need some legislation put into place immediately. I will be writing my local Senator. I encourage you all to contact yours as well.

Being a business owner, I conducted my due diligence on
Travel America (TA) after I was contacted by them. I saw this site and searched
the Net and then decided to work with them. I wanted to post my experience here
after the promotion and seeing if they travel the customers. First off, the
promo went great. It got people in the door and was successful at moving
furniture. My nephew's wife wanted some furniture so I threw in a trip for them
and told them to book this asap...which they did. Last week, they just returned
from Vegas. They were able to get the first date that they selected and really
had no problems at all with TA. They were able to get through to a booking
agent every time they called and were able to stay an extra night for a very
low surcharge.
Now I went through the original sample kit that my TA rep sent and nothing in there
said free so I belive you are mistaken. It is the buying's companies
responsibility for what they advertise and tell there sales staff to say. I
said 'complimentary'...which is was. Sure people 'free' and expect everything
to be free. What in this world is free folks? Please tell me becuase I want
some! You have to pay some sort of tax or fee on everything so why would this
be any different....It cost each of them $98 to get to vegas with hotel and
airfare and only $49 for an extra day. How can you complain about that from the
east coast? No one can...and if they do they need to wake up and quit being so
stupid. Some people just expect more I guess. So 'you have to pay yout own port
charges...so, what do you expect, everything to be handed to you? How would
anyone make money on this if you didn't? Aren't business in business to make
money...I know that I am
All in all, I am pleased by both the service and products from TA. My sale
srep, Tim, in THE STATES is awesome and they do have an office in canada...so
yeah, they can call themselves Travel America....maybe it should be Travel
North America...would that make you happy? Quit whining and go to Costco for
your 'free' samples...wiat they aren't free...you have to pay a membership
fee!!
Go write your Senator about that one too...you have no idea
what you are talking about and I would LOVE to see this letter...it will surely
be laughed at thrown in the trash..Where's your truth?...and I went to the site
you posted...they are people there who went on these trips and are happy!
