Equinox...Trek Alliance...same thing? Basically. Trek Alliance was spun off of Equinox in the late ninties. Not only are there literally thousands of personal complaints on the internet about them, but they are marked by the Better Business Breau as an unreliable company that dosen't respond to complaints.

How people get brainwashed into beliving this crap is beyond me. They will tell you stories like: "Suzy Joe made 9,000 dollars her first month".

Well let me tell you why this happened to Suzy Joe. Our dear Suzy pressured and pressured all her freinds and family and even old freinds she hadent talked to for years. She called up everyone from her old doctor to her hairstylist. She sold a lot of products out of pity. Then she makes her 9,000 dollars gross, not net.

Next month she calls those same people...doctors, hairstylists, mom, dad, friends, sisters ect...They wern't really that impressed by those products. Infact, they don't feel like spending 18 dollars on a 9fl oz. bottle of only okay conditioner. So next month rolls around and old Suzy Joe only makes 200 dollars. On top of that she has bought desk space and a phone line at their office that costs about 100-300 a month.

She goes on the semi-optional trips to see the companys leaders speak (one of which is a sexual deviant). This usually costs from 200-600 dollars...not including food, travel, hotel accomidations ect. Yea for Trek Alliance... Suzy is sure to succeed!!! Be smart. According to the FTC only the top one tenth OF the TOP ONE TENTH WILL EVER MAKE ANY SUBSTANTIAL MONEY AT MLM.

Poor excuse for a settlement, ripping people off even after being sued!

#2UPDATE EX-employee responds

Wed, June 20, 2007

Trek Alliance reached a settlement agreement with the FTC (Federal Trade Commission) to offer refunds to those who joined the company. Unfortunately, they only agreed to pay a total about $600,000. After all of the settlement claims were sorted out, I only got back $235 instead of the $4,200+ I had given them.

They're Out of Business ...FTC shut them down

I tried returning my products and I found out they were out of business. Apparently, the FTC (whoever they are) shut them down, I guess that's probably good.
