Called company to have rain soft softener serviced. Having family visiting in June so I wanted to make sure system was working properly. Company cancelled two appointments then rescheduled a third. Two months later technition arrived and replaced ultra violet light and serviced system, saying it was working fine. Tech literally at house 10 minutes total. Two weeks later system has low water pressure and found dark sediment ( charcoal appeared) Clogging up water system. Rescheduled to have system maintained. Tech calls three hours before appointment and explains that I need a replace tank and valve which is about $900. Tech shows up and gives me the option to replace parts and explains the dark sediment means something is wrong with media in tank... called Operations mgr. asking about untimely service and now cannot afford $900 to make system right. Op mgr explained phone diagnosis is something they do all the time and it is not their fault for missing diagnosis. Op mgr very rude and said he did not care what I thought and unconcerned it took Three Months to get diagnosis ( which was done over phone). Tech was rude and condescending, offered to finance amount to fix softner. Explained I was not financing and had they diagnosed this three months ago, I would have been able to budget for parts. Now I have company coming and no soft water. Again tech, nor Op mgr have any customer service skills, and I would not have this company fix the softner if they offered to do it free of charge. Rain soft should be aware this company is a representative of their company , and average Beware...this company averages One complaint filed with the BBB every 45 days.

WQA and NSF certifications are not worth anything if the system averages $1000 maintainance every two years.
