TruckChamp.com ,Division Of L.O.F. Got return of deffective product and will NOT give credit to my credit card. Elkhart Indiana
On May 23,2007 I purchased a BakFlip tonneau cover for my husbands 2006 Dodge Dakota pick-up and received it shortley after. Not 2 or 3 days later there was a problem with the rubber seal around the bed of the truck pealed up. This we let pass untill my husband was driving with it folded up laike the web site and the manufactor stated could be done. Problem is when he did this it did not lock in place as it stated would happen and when it slammed down the cover bent.
At the end of August or first of September I contacted Truckchamp.com and spoke to Austin in customer servce and he spoke to his boss Jason and a new one was sent out. (The manauacture had come out with a new model that they call G2 that corrected problems like we were having with the orginal model.) We got the new one about September 11, 2007 and attempted to install September 12, 2007 to find that the orginal one when it slamed down damaged the bed rails of the truck (the passenger rail near the tailgate was bent in almost 1/2 inch.) and it would not attach or operate correctly. I then called Austin again and requested they pick them up and credit the charged to my credit card and was told this would happen withen 24 to 48 hours.
On the 17th I called not received my credit I spoke to Jason and he said when they had prof it was picked he would issue credit well Fed-Ex picked up on September 18, 2007 I called him and told this information and still do not have credit on my account I today is September 24, 2007 and I keep getting the run around and everytime I call I am told they are all in meetings.
This company is quick to charge your creditcard and send items but when you have a problem and send items back they won't give you your monwy back.
