I finally got in contact with turtleshack and they told me to mail the turtle back to them frozen. Because they wanted it frozen i assumed they may have wanted it to return that way so i payed to have it overnight back to them. after doing so i did not here back from them for almost a week. I finally called and talked to a male associate who was not very helpful at all. He told me that they could only give me store credit for the cost of the animal. So i payed 30.00 for the animal and 30.00 to have it shipped and another 20.00 to ship it back and i would have to pay another 38.00 to ship the new one back to me. How it changed to 38.00 to ship the new one to me... i don't know. I told him that i couldn't rap my head around the concept as to why they would completely rip me off like that and he told me that i was the one who chose to ups it back to them. I explained that they requested it to be frozen so i assumed they would want it to arrive that way. His exact words to that.."Nope, thats just so it doesn't stank". That would make scence if it didn't stank' after thawing back out. I just told him ok, and i hung up the phone. Unsettled, I called back because i was going to give him a piece of my mind but a lady answered this time and I explained that i had been talking to a male named Mike. She asked if i would like to put him on. I said no, that i'd rather talk to her. I explained to her my situation and she informed me that Mike was correct and i told her that i just did not understand why they would do that to me when i trusted them to provide the good service that garantee. Keep in mind she was so nice and kind the entire time.. She told me that she would see if there was somthing she could do for me and that she would e-mail me with a solution that would benifit us both. A couple hours later i got an email from her telling me that she had spoken to her boss on my behalf and that she was in my corner. I then got another e-mail from the company that gave me a code for store credit of my entire purchase. So i got reimbersed for both my turtles and shipping. That was great because i already had one healthy turtle and i was now going to order two more. This means that they basically gave me a free turtle. The solution for somthing that would benefit us both worked because i have desided that i will indeed continue to purchase from then. All because the female who i spoke to. Thank you for the resolution.
