TXU Energy consumer ripoff Dallas Texas
According to my electric bill dated 08-12-2008: Current reading (on 08-04-2008) showed 44972. This reading increased the number of Kilowatts I used in the current perod 4.8 times compared to the prior period; although I have not changed my life-style in the last period and the weather of June was as hot as July 2008. On 8-16-2008 I looked at my electric meter and it showed 44180 (12 days after TXU's reading).
I called TXU to dispute the meter reading and the bill; but It was fruitless because all I met was rude and arrogant attitude from TXU's employees and a supervisor.
TXU inflated the number of Kilowatts I used so that not only it over-charged me but also imposed the higher rate for the number of Kilowatts exceeded 1,000 Kw limit.
For those customers who do not take time to review their monthly bills and/or do not know how to read their electric meters...they are easy targets for TXU to rip-off.
