TXU Energy Ripoff Dishonest Fraudulent Dallas Texas
I had Txu and I was getting bills from them for four hundred dollars a month I tried to dispute this with them but you cant dispute anything with them because they always think they are right. First its winter time and I have gas heaters so im not using electricity that much, I'm not home til around 5 or 6 so everything is off at the house.
Knowing im not home during the day and having everything off im wondering where is all of this billing coming from but i cant figure out but I always paid my bills. So when I decided to move and change my service to someone else I get a bill in the mail for $1200 dollars and I didnt pay it because how in the world can I use 1200 dollars worth of electricity and I'm asking them this on the phone and they are telling me I have at this point. I have given up because there is no way of disputing anything with this company.

Texas Utilities Commission is investigating TXU for driving up electric costs by withholding energy generation. I was with them for 20 years and during 2005 they over billed their customer $400 million. A friend of mine swithced me to a new company after I reviewed the choices at powertochoose.com and found out that nothing changes except the logo on your bill if you change companies. There you can compare all of the Texas REPs and choose the one that is right for you. Just a hint...the longer you lock in a rate the more you save. Be careful of some of the smaller companies as they do not have the customer service and billing down right. Choose wisely! Jim Dallas, TX
