Ubid.com ripoff did not respond to my request so I could return defective merchandise.
I received a defective Panasonic External CD-RW Drive from Ubid.com. They specifically state that you can only use their email form to obtain an RMA# to return merchandise.
I emailed them on 16, 19, 22 October 2001 and received no response. I called their customer service number on 10/22/01 and was on hold for one hour.
The customer service representative told me I would have to contact Panasonic Corp. to return the item.
I called Panasonic and they stated that I should have been given an RMA# by Ubid.com, and someone from Panasonic would call me in the next couple of days.
