UNIFUND CCR PARTNERS Sued me for account that was 0 balance for the previous charges & interest Cincinnati Ohio
A credit card company had charged off all of remaining balance for a business I was involved with that failed. With that, UNIFUND CCR PARTNERS somehow took it upon themselves and hired an attorney from North Dakota and filed a lawsuit against me for the amount of $12,751.24 plus interest of $8,384.60, attorney fees of $1,000.00 and costs of $365.00. I have the final billing from the credit card company showing "CHARGE OFF ACCOUNT - PRINCIPALS & CHARGE OFF ACCOUNT - FINANCE CHARGE for the balance of the charges.
UNIFUND CCR PARTNERS had no right to go after me when the charges were cleared by the original credit card company. I finally spoke to the attorneys in North Dakota and they told me that UNIFUND CCR PARTNERS will not compromise or settle on any debt that they have taken over, no matter what. This judgement is on my property title and causes a tremendous hardship on me financially. They told me this judgement is domant and will remain until expiration date which is 10 years from the filing date.
