I received a post card in the mail stating that my warranty that I had purchased was about to expire! I called the 800 number and I was required to put down a $260 deposit for the new year and was told that they would continue to deduct it out of my checking account.
A couple months later, I noticed that 2 different amounts for 2 different warranties were being deducted out of my account! I called and found out that I was being billed for 2 separate warranties on the same car! I called the most current one, that is the one that hoodwinked me and made me think that my warranty was about to expire and to reinstate it.
I called the number and I was told that I had to write a cancellation letter in order to get my refund, no problem! I wrote it immediately and sent it in, then I called about a week later to see if it was received and I was informed that it would take up to 8 weeks to receive my refund, but it would only be a partial one because of the months that I had the coverage (that I NEVER used).
Since the 8 weeks had expired, I had called several times and I get a different story every time from the check is on the way to they mail them out every Thursday!!! I have definitely been bamboozled from the very beginning, plus they keep sending me postcards trying to trick me again.
What can I do to get my money back??
