I called the number that was provided on the paper that they sent me. I talked to a customer service representative. I cancelled my account with UBA, which on the top right hand corner is the information that you have to give them. They said it had been cancelled, I hung up. Low and behold three to four days later I find out on march the 12th, after calling my bank and checking my account that a charge of 19.95$ had been taken out by UBA. So how is it that I cancel my account before it even becomes active (which was on March 23rd) that I am charged 19.95, I also obtained the number that was provided through my bank that was on my statement. I called them today and stated they were closed and that there hours were 9 to something I called after 9 (maybe there daylight savings clocks didn't work). So I'm starting to wonder should I put in an EFT form with my bank stating this is fraudulent and changing my ATM/Debit card with them again for the 4th time, not the first time I've been scammed.

I was contacted by these people as well. I didnt know any better and I should have. They asked me if I would like the serves and I stated that no. She than went on to say that they were going to give it to me for a month for free. When I was given a chance to speak I clearly said "Ok I have a qustion..." The company than took that as a yes I want that. I just want to know when Ok I have a qustion about my magazne subscription into Ok send it to me. I am getting in contact with all agencys I can to get something done about that.

So, Mr. Program Support Specialist, do early morning calls in which your fellow employees pretend to be affiliated with Visa count as benefits of your program. I've been getting a lot of scam calls lately, for some reason. I've gotten called by CRC of Tennessee (aka Blue Whale Publishing) and another magazine scammer and now United Benefit Advantage. A lady called me this morning, claiming that UBA wanted to give me a free gift for being such a good customer. (The magazine scam calls start the same way, so I already knew where this was going) I'm not, and have never been, a customer of UBA, so I told her this. She then said that the gift was for being a Visa customer. I'm sorry, but Visa does not give the phone numbers of clients (especially not phone numbers that are not linked to said clients' Visa accounts) to telemarketing companies so that they can "give" people "gifts". If your company is so great, why the need to lie on the phone?

I went through the same exact thing, the only problem is when i tried to cancell my account there was no number to be found on any of my paperwork! Their customer service letter just gives my account information and says I can cancell, but how? Even the website can't shed any light on this for me, and this program is a terrible offer. I would recommend you never sign up!!!
