United-Built Homes Workmanship, Materials, etc. Three type-written pages of problems and dishonesty. Appraisal was 2/3 of the loan. Springdale Arizona
The number of problems we have had is unbelievable. From workmanship, materials to lies. Here a few:
1. Kiitchen cabinet door falls off.
2. Bottom shelf of kitchen Island fell out.
3. No shelves in cabinets.
4. Cabinets, kitchen, and baths, unsanded water stained.
5. Cabinet design was not what we contracted.
6. Stain in master bath tub, still trying to get it out a year latter.
7. Shower that was installed belonged in an RV, ripped out and iinstalled a new one.
8. There was no insulation in the outside wall behind the shower! (Where else is there no insulation).
9. Contract was include five (5) acres as colatteral. Final contract had the whole tract of land. (With the difference in the appraisal and the loan I can see why they did that).
10. Their Dallas office notified us that we were two months late on our payments!!!! The house was not finished, their people said that there was at least two months work left to do. I was informed that I had signed a paper saying it was complete.
11. A/C condensation drain in the attic was now connected. Water ran down the wall to under the rugs.
12. Voids in the attic insulation.
And the list goes on and on. i.e. We are now (2 Yrs. later) finding that the hand rails on steps are rotting and spliting.
