United Collecton Bureau Same name equals harrassment Toledo Ohio
I was contacted by my ex-wife of (10 yrs divorced)remarried with a different last name that UCB was contacting her and her and her parents, also different last name regarding a debt that i failed to repay. They called me, i assured them it was not my account. After i refused to give my social they then told me the social on the account and i told them i t was not mine. (Distant cousin with same name).
They told me they would remove me, called agin 2 weeks later, they again told me they would remove me, called again today with the usual message ie. legal fees, lawsuites etc. etc. Not me...but who clears my name? Up yors Mr Ferguson, Up yours Ms. Hymen and all the rest who hung up on me ...Im going to the state atty gen. and FTC. Good luck.

The first thing to do is send a letter to them and request a cease of all communications as per your rights under the FDCPA. Then go to the FTC website and file a complaint, and file one each time they call you from here on out. Then file a lawsuit on them for defamation. Its not you they are after but they have ruined your name. Stop these assholes dead in their tracks!
