First, the $99 per month is collected by Social Security for your Medicare Part B which you do need. When you enroll in a Medicare Advantage Plan, the insurance company that issues the plan is basically administering your Medicare coverage. They are paid huge sums by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid (CMS) to do so. Having VA coverage, there should be no reason for you to enroll in any additional plans. Having VA coverage will also allow you to disenroll from the Medicare Complete plan at any time. You may do so by sending your request in writing to the Medicare Complete plan, by calling the member services number on the back of your ID card or by contacting Medicare directly.
