I recieved membership cards for Merchant Technical support Services that were never authorized in the mail today. I contacted the general info # given 1-888-673-1308 to dispute this. The represenative was from United Marketing Group and told me that the charges of 49.95 were authorized on Jan 1st. Our office was closed that day so no one could have authorized this its a scam!. I was then told I had to call another #866-576-1878 to cancell the membership.

The second number was answered by someone from a company called LAC and they told me they could provide taped phone authorization that occured on Dec 27th 2007. I asked them how they recieved payment and was told it was billed directly to my phone company on Jan 8th. I have more than one phone provider so I asked for the phone company name and was told they didn't have that information as they used a third party billing service.

OUR office was shut down from Dec. 24th -Jan 2 so there is no way anyone gave them authorization.

In addition my phone bills have not yet posted this transaction so I have to look at all of my banking accounts and charge cards to see how they got me for 49.95. Outrageous!! and time consuming.
