Called Unitersna last October 2015 to report damage to my recliner. I hold a five year warranty on this recliner. Technician was sent out to evaluate on October 2015. Technician took pictures and told me that he was going to order a new back and arm for the recliner due to unusual wear thus approving my claim. Never heard another word from technician so I thought the parts needed to be manufactured. Called company today January 27, 2016 Only to be told the claim was denied. Clearly this in my humble opinion a warranty scam.

The local seller was Miskelly and yes, I contacted the store. i talked directly to the manager. He basically said to me it wasn't their problem. He then went on to say that I needed to deal directly with the warrantee company. I then said back to this store manager at Miskelly that this is a direct reflection on your furniture store since you sell the warrantee and in fact, greatly recommend taking out a warrantee on the furniture piece. I also mentioned that I served my country for 23 years, was disabled military veteran and relied on my recliner. He then went on to say that he/his store wasn't the military. Thank you Miskelly!

Out of curiosity I see you are in my local living area. Have you contacted the original seller of the recliner....I am guessing they are the ones who sold you the warranty. Just curios. Good luck, let us other consumers know how it goes and where you bought the recliner from. Laz
