Universal Health Solutions lies about returns and shuts down telephones.
We were invited to a dinner sales pitch through the mail by Univdersal Health Solutions, 577W. Century Blvd. , Suite 565, Los Angeles Ca. 90045 on May 9th, 2001. They were selling Therapeutic Magnic Mattress Pads. The cost was $998. for a king size, which we bought.
We were told we must try it for 90 days after delivery to receive a refund if we wished to return it. If we returned it before the 90 days it would cost $100. restocking fee. We were told it was guaranteed to cuyre all kinds of pain, etc. Also a "Lifetime Guarantee"
We paid by Visa. The 90 days were over today and we called the company for return instructions only to find all telephone numbers have been disconected. We then called visa and was told they could only handle complaints up to 90 days of purchase not delivery. There was a 2-4 week delivery time. (They know what they're doing.)
We are out $998.00
