After my brother mistakingly threw a part out for my vacuum, I went online to research where I can find the part. I went to the manufacturers website and they were out of stock. I searched Google for the part and came across universalvacuums.com. While the site seemed well put together there was something about it that didn't sit well with me. I decided to have a little faith nonetheless and ordered the part. I received an email confirmation that my part had been ordered and the page on the  site said ships within 24 hrs. I never received a tracking # for my package however my card was charged for the amount within 10 days of ordering. I waited weeks for my package and it never showed. I finally took the time out of my busy schedule to call them and let them know. The man I spoke too was polite and said he would put the order through again. I waited more weeks and my package never showed. All the while I was keeping my faith hoping the package would show. I really did not want to think that this company was a janky company in the business of taking people's money. I called again somewhat upset and at the point it has been two months since I never received my package and I requested my refund. The man I spoke with wondered why I waited so long to call and I had to tell him I called before already regarding this and I was promised it would be shipped again and I still haven't received it. He then promised me a phone call from the owner who never called me. I called again the the next man I spoke with apologized saying the owner is very busy in meetings however he will be refunding my money and it will take 3-4 days to come back to my card. At that point I was relieved to know that maybe the company isn't so bad and they will just refund my money. It now has been a week and a half, there has been no signs of a refund to my account. The phone number used on my statement for the withdrawal transaction is the phone number to another business that has no idea of my situation. I've called universal vacuums numerous times no-one has picked up the phone nor have they returned my phone calls. 

I decided to Google them again and came across this website with 2 other ripoff reports with similar stories to mine. I also noticed that the employees of the company as well as the owner have all rebutted to the ripoff reports stating that the people who wrote them are wrong and lying and the owner even went as far to say that the reports are being written by competition companies and fake. Although their rebuttals were months after the original posts, I'm not letting them go. Guess what Universal Vacuums I am a real customer with a real problem with you and I will not back down until I get a solution! I had faith that you were a real company that would not take peoples money but that has dwindled as  that seems to be the case that you are in the business of ripping people off. PLEASE FEEL FREE TO RESPOND TO THIS POST, OR EVEN CALL ME TO RESOLVE THIS ISSUE. UNTIL THEN I CONSIDER YOUR COMPANY FRAUDULENT AND A RIPOFF!

Didn't send bags and won't give me my money back either, they scammed me too
