First be aware that if you order thru Upzy and have a problem, they don't stand by the product, and instead blame the manufacturer, in this case Prodecotech out of Florida.

And with Prodecotech, be pepared to receive LOTS of lame 'excuses'....and that's if you or Upzy can even get ahold of 'em to begin with ("we're all out batteries", "still waiting while batteries go thru customs", "I've been trying to get ahold of the sales rep. for 2 weeks", etc.). But basically just lotsa emails, stalling, failed promises and ultimately no satisfaction.... while all Upzy does is simply 'relay' the messages, if we can even get anyone at Prodecotech to even reply at all.

So where I am now is with a very nice folding Strider e-bike (finally, and that's only after having to bug the bejebus out of 'em just to get that), which arrived with, guess what.... a defective battery (opened the end cap and discovered two connecting wires dangling free with solder on the ends, apparently either never attached or perhaps just broke off the solder joints in transit). 

But that was a month ago, and whenever I talk to Upzy, it's still just more of the same stalling, excuses and runaround as before. So now we're supposedly waiting for the NEXT Batch of batteries... currently being manufactured in Taiwan! BTW, why sort of legit e-bike company doesn't doesn't have even a single replacement battery to spare?!

Thank you for sharing your feedback.  As we are an online retailer and ProdecoTech is the manufacturer and shipper, your ProdecoTech bike was shipped out and delivered directly from the ProdecoTech warehouse.  We adhere to their manufacturer's warranty as per our company policy.

As part of our ongoing aftersales service, we have been contacting them as much as we can regarding your order.  We do admit they are difficult to get a hold of at times, especially the right person.  I believe you also spoke to ProdecoTech directly on both the delay and the battery situation.  We are still in communication with them regarding your order and want to assist you as best as we can.  We greatly appreciate your time and patience on that.

Right now, we do have a replacement battery allocated for you on their next shipment.  We will continue to monitor the situation and let you know of any updates.  Thank you very much!
