My dear Leslie, how can you be so glad to know that my credit rating was ruined by your company? And what "contact the school so we can look at your particular student history and the enrollment agreement you signed to better answer your concerns" are you talking about? I have done it countless times. I have already exhausted all of my efforts to prevent this from happening. Your Student Helpdesk never entertained and treated me as a customer.
US Career Institute only preoccupied itself with mailing assignments while receiving payments. During the last few months, all messages that I received from your helpdesk is "we have already forwarded your account to the collection agency. If you have any concerns about payments, just contact them." Then they would hang up the phone. You are aware of the behaviors of your Student helpdesk and other departments dealing with customers because you are recording the conversations "for quality and training purposes."
Leslie, please do not redirect the issue by throwing data and statistics about how you lure people and run your business because that's totally out of context. I came to this site and shared my story because I am a victim of getting "associated" with US Career Institute at one point in my life. Now I am totally nothing, and nowhere to go. You took my credit rating away and I will suffer this for the next 7 years!

We are glad to have the opportunity to discuss your concerns. First and foremost, I urge you to contact the school so we can look at your particular student history and the enrollment agreement you signed to better answer your concerns.
To clarify the enrollment process: All U.S. Career Institute (USCI) enrollments are made through the prospective students decision to contact the school and to enroll in the school. USCI Prospective students respond to our advertising, and based on the information they receive, they decide whether to enroll. Upon enrollment, prospective students are provided with an enrollment agreement. The agreement clearly outlines the schools tuition and refund policy.
We rely on government statistics to help us determine the demand for trained employees in the fields for which we have courses. Please refer to the U.S. Department of Labors Bureau of Labor Statistics website (http://www.bls.gov/ooh/office-and-administrative-support/financial-clerks.htm#tab-6). As stated on this webpage, Employment of billing and posting clerks is projected to grow 20 percent. Job growth will be particularly strong for those in medical billing because increased demand for healthcare services will require more of these workers. Furthermore, under Job Prospects on this page, you can elect to view the spreadsheet for Employment by Industry. When viewing the Health care industry (code 621-30 found directly under 62000), it shows a 23.2% increase in employment in the medical billing field, which is defined by the BLS as faster than average growth compared to all industries. When compared to the average 14.3% employment increase projected for all occupations, it is clear medical billing is a growing occupation.
From the content of your post, it sounds like you may not have worked with our graduate counselors in your job search. USCI has many successful graduates working in the field. As part of its service to graduates, USCI provides graduate counseling that assists students with their job search skills. We guide you in preparing your resume, marketing your services, networking skills, etc.
