Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
I have always maintained wherever I work that anyone could be a customer; employees, applicants for jobs, etc., and that all people should be respected.

Recent experience with USAA has been one that is impersonal. There has been no respect for my efforts and my time (money and gas, as well) during the hiring process.

Simple attempts to retrieve some answers to questions and get guidance during this process seems to be greeted, in general, with an ALOOF response, despite passing all requirements; and, speaking on my behalf in search of help seems to have hastened my alienation from the process.

Yet, I did nothing wrong!! Do they want automatons, or slaves working there; who do not have brains? Do they avoid people with self-respect, who stand up for their rights to be treated respectfully and equally, viewing these attributes as too rebellious a nature to work in their perfect little company?!!

I have tried to quietly locate someone in HR, with whom I could speak on the phone; thereby avoiding a complaint letter to corporate, which no doubt would mean the end of any chance of working there for some Lord knows reason...

Americans, you must start standing up for your rights and stop letting companies dictate every little detail. If they are hiring you then they should also accept that you can think for yourself and have self-respect.

Because most people stay quiet, it makes those of us who take the risk of speaking up, appear like problems to be avoided, rather than an intelligent person providing a solution to an obstacle.

Politicians regularly are telling you how wonderful you are (we know this is appeasement, of course, right?) --- you should start acting this way!

Any help on the matter regarding USAA would be helpful, thank you.

Vox, What I can tell you from the hiring "hoop jump" it's a long process. How far have you gotten in the process? Phone interview, and one face to face? It depnds on what type work you want to do there. You can try calling back the recruiter who you've been speaking w/. What EXACTLY has you upset? I believe what you are looking for is info you can try 1-800-210-8722. They may be able to get you info. Good Luck!
