My wife and I signed up with Vacation Network Inc. in 2005 with the idea that we would be saving money buying bulk vacations. After finding out that it is so difficult to actually go on one of their vacations due to their reservation system we were very displeased. We paid over $6000.00 for 20 future vacations that were so difficult to use that we couldn't do it.

In November of 2007 we received a letter allowing us to take half of our money left and break the contract because so many people were unhappy with the company. Since this was our only choice we decided to go with it. We faxed and mailed in the documentation and called to make sure that they received it.

In March of 2008 we received a letter stating that we would have the refund check by 7/30/2008 and no later than 30 days after. We were just happy to be getting half of our money even though it was a little less than half because they still kept subtracting the yearly fee of around $250.00.

July came around and passed with nothing, then it got to be half way through August and I was getting worried so I called in to find out what the situation was. The lady told me that they were getting them out everyday and they had until the end of the month.

On September 9th I email Mindy Baldwin the head of the customer service department (at least that is what is sounds like) and I got a response back two days later on the 11th. She her response was "At this point, there is approximately 70-80 names ahead of yours to be refunded. I don't know whose is going out when, but I am send the ck info after the ck has been mailed out. I will happy to note your acct. and as soon as I see your name, I will call and let you know your ck is on the way."

I waited and on October 15th 2008 I sent another email saying how it has been a month and a half since I was told I would have my check and I still hadn't gotten it. She said there were about 45 names still ahead of mine.

I waited again and December 18th 2008 I sent another email explaining that I was very unhappy and that this was unacceptable. I have not heard anything back yet and I am very worried that we won't be getting any of our money back.

I don't recommend even going to their presentation because they will make it sound great when it is actually very difficult to have a vacation that you paid for.

I am furious that they lied to me and told me I was supposed to have my money by last August at the latest and that I still have not received it!!
