Although I feel your situation I would like to add a positive note about value city furniture. I purchased a red leather couch from them 3 years ago. I paid 800 dollars or so after extended warranty was added. I used that couch for over 2 years as a sitting couch and even slept on it most of the time. The quality was amazing and with leather it usually gets a used look really quick. However this one looked just as good 2 years later as it did the first day i bought it. The couch never had any rips or tears in it. Value city is a business and sometimes the consumer is responsible for taking care of the products. That is just my opinion. Unfornately for me I moved so instead of taking my furniture I just sold all of it.

oh my goodness. i bought the exact set. the cushions sink down so low your sitting on wood. its impossible to get out of the stupid couch without help. the springs broke within months. the fabric ripped under the crappy cushions. the arms are falling off. the wood that holds the back up has collapsed. i bought that warrenty they sell. they refused to fix the couch. i was told when i bought it that they would replace it if it broke and couldnt be fixed. well they now say they discontinued the furniture right after i bought it and would not replace it. it was broke like a month after i bought it!! i bought a kitchen table and chairs. within a month the chairs fell apart. i will never buy there again
