Value City Furniture rip-off Value Shitty Merrillville Indiana
i ordered some furniture from valu the beginning of febuary 2003 and was promised that it will be in the end of the month. so i called 2/27/03 and spoke with rene she stated that there was a back order and it will not be in until end of may. because there was a problem getting the fabric in and the company will not be able to make it. well i already paid for the furniture in full.
i asked her "well why didn't the decide to call and tell me that i will be another four months before my furniture will be in". rene stated that they don't call customers and tell them anything until the furniture is in no matter if the furniture is paid in full or not.
i asked to speak to a manager she then said she was busy and will call me back in 20 minutes. well an hour went by and no manager called me. so i decided to call back and still she was not able to speak to me so i asked for the corporate head quarters number and rene said they are not allowed to give that number out either.
i called another valu city furniter and they said they can have the same furniture in stock in 2 days.
i will just get my money back so therefor i don't have to write another horror furniture story.
