Van Ru Credit Corporation Sleazy weaseling actions Des Plaines Illinois
I received a threatening letter from these people regarding a debt that had been proven to have been fraudulently acquired. In the letter, I was allowed 30 days to act before a judgment would be filed.
When I sent in my dispute via certified mail with return receipt, it took almost a month for the return receipt to make its way back to me. The post office recorded delivery in 4 days. When I finally received the return receipt, I saw that someone had signed for it, but refused to put a date. The postmark on the return receipt had been for a week after the recorded date of post office delivery.
What a sleazy, low way to do business!
